Update And Other.....WHAT?!?! A Resolution?!

I know I've been bad at updating this blog. The truth is, I've lost it and hopefully after this post, I'll come back regularly.

I've been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past 1 week. I've finally tendered my resignation! I'm glad I did but it wasn't a smooth resignation.

I'm still here serving my notice and it has been so dreadful for me to go to work every morning because I am not allowed to do anything since everything is P&C. Yes, I'm glad I'm getting paid for not doing anything at all besides occasionally tutoring my fellow colleagues but I have not been able to really be my self since my supervisor and I are not in talking terms at all; zero, zilch, NADA. Now, I don't want to wander there since I'm feeling a LOT better today to actually FINALLY blog.

I've been wanting to blog since the passed weekend. I would sign in my blogger and click on "New Post" and yet I can't get my brain to tell my fingers to type anything.

So I've applied a couple of jobs and I'm looking to apply to other places; same industry and others. InsyaAllah, Allah will guide me to the right job; a job that will make me content. I mean, I do know that nowhere will be smooth sailing but I believe I deserve to have a great job with promising future PLUS a desirable salary. InsyaAllah.

By the way, it is almost New Years. What are your New Year's resolutions? I don't practice this but why not start the tradition this time. Let’s start with just one ok Farah: Thou shall..... CUT THE FUCK DOWN CONSUMING THOSE FUCKING UNHEALTHY FAST FOOD. *ehem* Excuse my Latin.

Just one is MAGNIFICENT enough because I know myself too well; no point setting goals that are beyond reachable even though it's a mere make-up-your-bed-every-morning-before-you-even-think-about-leaving-the-bedroom.

Let's try once a month? Cue hitting fingers with the ruler for typing that resolution down.

This is a toughie people. To those who know me, you guys know how much love I have for fast food. I love it too much that I love them like a LOVE song. Teehee..

Quarter Of A Century Old

Yep, that's me. I'm that young old. When I was in my adolescent, twenty five seemed like a big deal. "If you're not married by then, be married pronto". Yeah, I was weird.

I love all the wonderful wishes and thoughts I received from my family and friends. If only we have our birthday everyday, we will not be forgotten! But then, it'll take the fun out of it if it's just another ordinary day.

Oh, Maya and my present were waiting for me in front of the front door when I got back from work.

Hubster really surprised me this year. WEeeeeee...

Anyhoos, here's to another great year!

I wonder what is in store for me this coming year?

Weekly Favorites

I've been following Naomi from Design Manifest for the past couple of months and I truly love her sense of taste in Interior Designing.

She gave her readers a tour of her living area on her recent post and I just have to share it with you guys here. I love everything about that space of hers. I love the bold-not-much-repetition-colors she uses around the house and ALL the patterned pieces she has.I love the whole concept.

I love her yellow ottoman and that fuschia painting over it. I WANT THEM!!

I love the teal mirror over that wallpaper. I love zebra-patterned chairpads. I LOVE THIS CORNER!!

I love these throw pillows. Check out the wayang kulit lumbar pillow (left).

Splish Splash

Took Maya for a swim. She LOVES the water. Her fingers get all prune-y and yet she doesn't want to get out of the water. I'm glad she loves it. I have no picture of her in the pool because we had no one (aka Faliq) to take pictures of us having a good time.

I love magazines and magazines love me (they have no choice but to because I buy and cherish them).

One of my obsessions hobbies is oozing over their advertisements. I would study every bit of it especially on the model/s; the hair, the makeup, the pose, just straight up EVERY-MICRO-THING.

However, it hurts me so bad when I see something I really like (obviously the ad works) and I can't go to the store like immediately and grab it of the shelves! Cue crying like Maya when she doesn't gets what she wants (like mommy like daughter). Teehee..

I am totally mesmerize with gray. I DON'T KNOW WHY but I DO I Do I DO.Gimme THAT!

Tinted lip balm in a cute colored casing?!?!?! Omaigod, shut UP! Gimme THAT!

It's Thursday and I'm lovin' it!

I had a great lunch and yummy food made this mommy HAPPY.

I love how busy this room looks. I love the variety of greens going on in here. I want to have a pretty chair with books and a nice looking potted plant right at the top of the stack just like the one in this photo. I love this corner. Sigh..

My sister would love a mini library just like this somewhere in her home and this seems like a good idea. This room looks very comfy and check out the awesome ceiling! LOVE Love it!

I love the tiles. I love it so much that I want them in my home! (Not quite sure which part of the house)

My mom used to hang plates (similar to these) in our dining room back in the day. I would never thought arranging the plates like this one. Gorgeous!

If we were to have a bigger home, I would like something like this for our family room. Good thing we don't; I hardly vacant my living room. HaHA.. I love the paisleys on the walls.(I'm sorry, I really can't remember where I got this image from. Yikes!)

What I Did Last Friday

Maya's 1st Art Class

BOO!!

Happy Tuesday and Happy *belated* Halloween!!

Anyhoos, Maya had her first ever art class last saturday. It was so much FUN! I never had one and yes I don't think I've ever gotten an A in my art class. Hahaha :p

Maya didn't quite like getting paint all over her hands. She was given feathers to use to paint and short feathers got her hands dirty as she dipped 'em feathers in paint. She stopped painting when her hands got dirty so I "finished" it.

For the second art, she was given beans and pastas to decorate her turkeys. Maya applied the glue on the back of the turkey using a paintbrush (she loves the paintbrush) and I helped decorate her turkeys. She couldn't resist the black beans, barley and pasta; she couldn't stop putting them in her mouth!Note-to-self: Wear stuffs that I don't mind getting paint and glue all over them.

I'm sure Maya will get accustomed to her art class. For the moment, I enjoy the class more than she does. Hehe..

Here's to many more art pieces to be hung all over her room and the kitchen.

So I decided to unprivate this blog. I love having readers and privatizing this blog makes no sense of having one (to me). So I'm back!

It's Monday and I'm in a mood for sharing.

Our bathtub in the master came with the house and the developer gave us the cheapest/lowest quality; only Maya and I use it and after plus-minus 1 year of using it, this featherlite weight mommy cracked (a big one) the tub and that ended my relationship with the tub.

Hubster and I have been wanting to do something about our bathroom but it's not going to happen anytime soon since it's not a priority.

However, going through beautiful bathrooms for inspirations doesn't cost a penny.
