When are you coming out baby?

So I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday morning. I was so looking forward for this appointment HOPING I’ll get some good news, but luck was not on my side. I was hoping the doctor would say something like “you’re fully engaged!” or “you’re in labor!” or “it’s going to be anytime now” but….NONE was uttered. He said baby’s head is still floating, her head is down though, but f.l.o.a.t.i.n.g.!!??!?!

I wanted to cry, in fact, I had an invisible tear rolled down my chubby cheeks.

Well, I shouldn’t feel this way since my EDD is May 22nd. It’s entirely my doctor’s fault. He said 80% of women give birth two weeks before their EDD and he made me believed I’ll be in that percentage group. Ok, I’m exaggerating, he didn’t, he was just sharing me the facts. Hehe…

Anyhoos, he added that if my baby is not out by May 22nd, he’ll need to induce me on the 24th and I’ll have lil precious by the 25th. Oh god, 25th seems so far far away. :(

Plus, I gained extra 2kg (I think) this passed week! Faliq blamed the everyday Kit Kat I eat before leaving for work. Hehe :p

Oh well, I guess mommy has to wait for her lil bundle of joy.

Mommy can’t wait!

I love you baby~

My Baby Shower

On May 2nd, my BFF and sis-in-law threw me a baby shower. It was LOVELY and planned with much love. It was held at Bianco, Damansara Perdana. The food was awesome, the ambience was superb, and the crowd was great. It was the best baby shower that any mommy in the world would dream of. There were games involved, and let me tell you, my guests (grown men and women) were super cool that they didn’t mind participating in crazy (made for baby shower) games. I felt loved <3 Here are some pictures from the baby shower. (pictures are from my mommy's camera)

Thank you for those who came and thank you Leey, Wawa, and Yana for the beautiful day. *huggies and kisses*

Happy Labor Day!!

Wouldn’t it be great if I give birth today?
If my darling baby decides to come out today, then her every birthday would be a holiday!
I can do birthday parties (on her exact birthday), we can take her somewhere out of town, well you know, we can celebrate her day ALL day.
But I guess she’s comfortable in her mommy’s warm, comfy belly and decides to come out later :)
Today has been a pretty long day for me. I am really TIRED.
We catched a 10pm movie last night, we watched IRON MAN 2. It was awesome! We went to this theatre that they have just open up right by our place and it’s pretty cool since the cinema smells BRAND NEW. The sound system was loud and that movie practically kept my baby awake the whole time. Boy, I’m sure she wasn’t happy with mommy and daddy :). We got home quarter to 1am and we had to be up early the next morning for Azhar’s engagement.
I don’t understand how this body of mine functions sometimes. How is it I can wake up - get dressed, put my make up on, DO MY HAIR, basically make myself look cute, ON A WEEKEND, even though I had only few hours of sleep the night before, and if it was a normal working day, I can’t wake up even if I had 9 hours of sleep!!!
W.E.I.R.D
The engagement was pretty. The food was good. The weather was HORRIBLE. It was crazy hot out there.
I seriously felt like I was about to pass out. The heat was madness. I really need to tell my sister to do her engagement at night. The heat here in KL is no joke. FOR REAL!
The after party was at Austin Chase. We chatted while playing a friendly game of Taboo. It was a good place to decrease my body's super high temperature. Thank god for air conditioner.
Oh well, hearing the sound of my husband’s snoring is making me sleepy. I’m going to take a nap because later I’m going out with my mommy and papa to meet up with mommy’s old friend.
Ciao~

Happy Birthday Aza!!

My one and only sister turns 22 yesterday!
Can’t believe that she’s a grown woman. Well we’re only a year and three months apart :p. I called her at 12.04pm Malaysian time, yesterday, to wish her happy birthday. We talked for a bit and I told her she’ll be getting her pressie from us once she gets back. She tried to guess what we got for her…..ekkkkkkkkkkk they were all wrong. Even though she has grown into a fine looking lady, but when it comes to presents I guess we all get super excited as though we’re just kids.
I miss going out with her and do something fun on her birthday. *sigh*
However, as I mentioned earlier, my darling sister is coming back for the summer! Weeeeeeeeeee
She’ll be arriving on May 13th and she’s hoping my baby can wait for her aunty before she decides to come out. Can I wait that long?

Anyhoos, dear Aza, may this year be one of the best years for you. You’re going to be an aunt and you’re getting engaged. How exciting this year has been for you so far! I wish for many many more, anything that’ll make you happy because you’re special and you totally deserve it.

I love you Aza~

My Love Story

Summer 07
That whole summer in KL, my mom insisted that I must meet this guy, who is my aunt’s neighbor, that my mother found ideal (husband/father material) for me. She said, “you will like this guy, he’s your kind of guy, I just know it” and THE most important of all, MOMMA-duke likes him.

My sister and I were in KL that summer for only A month. We couldn’t stay longer because we had to go back to FL and work (gotta make money to pay them bills).

Just few days before I head back to St Petersburg, FL, my mom reminded me to meet this guy. We were so busy that summer and honestly I didn’t feel like wasting an evening befriending someone I have no clue off. Hehe =D
I said “ok, ok” and thought to my self “this guy better be worth the time = yummylicious!”

“He had me at Hello”

It was Tuesday teatime (can’t remember the exact date), which was just 4 days before going back to responsibilities, my mom arranged us all to meet.

While waiting for them boys to get to KLCC, the rest of us were waiting for them in front of Dome Café. For some reason I had tiny butterflies, the longer we waited, the butterflies were no longer tiny! It was as though I had a swarm of bees in me belly.
Well of course it makes sense later; I was about to meet my husband. The one I’ve been asking God in every prayer; the one I’ve been waiting for.

F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. they got there, THANK GOD, I couldn’t take the nervous-ness anymore. I didn’t know which one was Faliq (there were two guys) but my mom did always say that he’s good looking and “he’s mine kind of guy” (no offense Haziq, you’re good looking). So the moment I saw Faliq, BANG cupid did his thing, and I was definitely in love.

The Venue: Aseana Café, KLCC
Present were: mommy, Aza, Aya, Uncle Daud @ Abah, Haziq, Faliq <3 and I. We had tea at Aseana, I wasn’t being me AT ALL. I was definitely trying to impress my soon-to-be father-in-law (haha, law of attraction people, if you put your mind to it, it will come true, and in my case it DID!) Faliq showed no like-ness towards me. No flirting/signs/ANYTHING: zero, zilch, NADA!! I wasn’t “heartbroken” (maybe a little, teehee =D). He challenged me, and let me tell you, never ever have I have this drive in me that I must make someone fall for me. Sounds a little desperado eh? Hahahahahahahaha…. I still have butterflies thinking about this special day, oh wait, maybe that was just my baby moving in my belly. Wednesday: Just Hanging Out Well after that awesome teatime, even though he hardly talked, we hung out the next day. He treated Haziq, Aza and I for lunch at Chili’s, KLCC. Later after lunch, the four of us + my cousin went around town to run some errands for my mom and I enjoyed every second of it even with the others around. His presence made me weak in the knees. I was really in love. I know it sounds a little weird, since all we had were casual talks. Anyhoos, we hung out more after dinner that night till late. That day we saw a lot of each other which was *blissful*. It was starting to get late so we called the night off because Mr.Pilot had to go to Medan, Indonesia the next morning. 3 cakes = I love you? I’m leaving this Saturday! When will I meet him again? I needed more time, time for both of us to get to know each other, just some time for him to know me enough to fall in love with me (I was already madly in love with him :p) We or I have to come up with a plan. My mom saw how I was sooooooooo head over heels with Faliq, so she came up with a BRILLIANT idea! She suggested for me to order cakes from Faliq from Medan (it’s their local delicacies). Layer cake is my FAVORITE and since I’m leaving for states, bringing some cakes back would be so AWESOME. I asked Faliq for that favor and he said yes, but he told me that I have to meet him at the airport on that Thursday morning because he had other places to go. Of course, I said, “no problemo papi.” Well minus the papi :p. So my mom drove me to the airport since I didn’t know and I still don’t know how to get to KLIA. When we got there, we waited for him at the curb. I called him on his cell and he came out, and there he was, walking towards our direction, he was in his uniform + dashing smile + gorgeous EVERYTHING, I didn’t want to go back to St Pete that Saturday. I ordered two cakes from him but he got me three. I took it as a sign, 3 cakes = I love you. Oh my god, HE LOVES ME TOO!!?? Nope, I decipher it wrongly; he wasn’t in love with me YET. =) Few months later, thanks to the internet world and nowadays’ technology, we were both in love. And yes you’re right, it was a long distance relationship, and we proofed that it can work since we got married less than two years later!

I love you Faliq~

Hello there BLOGworld. Are you ready for Farah?

FINALLY, I have decided to have my own blogspot. Why now? At 36 weeks of my pregnancy, just weeks or maybe days before I become a Mommy, it feels like it’s about that time.

I don’t know what to specifically blog about. Here is a list of things I might/will write about.

1. Since I’m going to be a mommy soon *butterflies* I’ll definitely share my ups & downs (please oh please be UPS 99.99%) of motherhood with all of you.

2. I’m a wife, a very proud wife to Mr Hubster, I’ll definitely share my marriage life with all of you. (Don’t worry, I’ll keep it G-rated or maybe PG-13 ;p)

3. I’m a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin etc; BASICALLY this blog will be about ME! Imma write whatever my water retention fingers feel like typing away.

I am not much of a writer but blogging seems fun, so why not give it a try. Besides, it’s good exercise for my super ENORMOUS fingers.
