"Not Quite Done Yet"

I’m out of Annual Leave but I was given Medical Leave from my OB-GYN however I was advised to take my Maternity Leave now; “What is one week”, said Mr. Boss.

*nangis teresak-esak*

Yes, I’m still working today because why would I want to use my Maternity Leave now?!?!!

Anyhoos hees hass

Hubs is half way across the globe and will only be back this Friday morning and my doctor dearest will be away in Hong Kong from Thursday till Sunday evening.

Why is it so hard for me to experience a normal natural delivery?! I guess this is as natural as it gets; Forces of Nature.

The overwhelming anxiety I’m going through is honestly draining me off. I think this will be my only “planned” natural birth and I’m all for induction after this. My hubs, OB-GYN and I have different schedules and really, the wisest thing to do is to pick a date that all of us will be available right?

*dilemma*

I’m planning to say NO to any and all painkillers this time (O Lord HELP ME!!). They said labor pain is more intense if an induction is done. So, I would think (and after reading gazillion childbirth stories off the internet) I can survive the pain without painkillers if I go all natural. Right? Well it seems like it!

*Ge Gah Ge Gah GULP*

My pain threshold is pretty much at the borderline of non-existence. Can I do this?

HELL YES I CAN!! (Stay tune for my actual birth story later; I’m curious to know the outcome later too. LOL)

So, at 38 Weeks and 4 days, my little bub is still baking.

Mommy of (ALMOST) two

  3. Hey, you'd d great. Dont worry!

There was a woman who literally gave birth at the porch at the front gate of MrAR's office in Jeddah bcoz she tak sempat go to the hospital. And to make things worse, her husband is working so he was not with her during and after birth. Someone had to be the bidan right there at the porch. Talk about scary!
